Our focus is the earth.
Healthy plants produce vegetables that have the vitality to express their individual characteristics. We support this process by adding organic matter & practicing low impact cultivation to increase the activity of the soil.
We consider open-pollinated varieties to be superior to hybrid varieties. In our opinion, they offer the best flavour. We have been saving our own seed for many years. Some of the varieties that we grow have been lost to the commercial seed industry.
Our one acre garden offers a large variety of vegetables with old-fashioned flavour.
salad greens, herbs, bok choy, peas, beans, kale, chard, zucchini, cucumbers, tomatoes, cabbage, fennel, celery, onions, beets, carrots, parsnips, potatoes & garlic.
We practice an artisanal, whole system production of breeding our own livestock. Our barn is home to beloved sows and a charming boar.

In the early days of 2017, we found an opportunity to share a second property.
Reaching beyond the limitations of our original property is moving us closer
towards a self sufficient farm system. The potential for pasture and cropping will allow us to
expand the diversity of our production.
